Twist, And Maybe Shout
Start Aging Intelligently today, one step at a time.
Just before you eat:
Find a flat surface along a wall, and face it. Standing, leaving your feet facing the wall, twist so you are looking behind yourself. Use one hand to push your twist a little farther, and focus on something so you don’t make yourself dizzy. Repeat the twisting action on the other side. If it makes you dizzy, slow down or sit down. Repeat each side 10 times. You can shout if you like.
Your spine loves to twist and move in all directions. Plus, twisting is a good skill when you are parallel parking, or reaching back on the table behind you for a snack.
Only then, eat.
This adds a habit you already do (eating) to a habit that you want to form (better spine function).
Aging Intelligently is a process and a practice
