ACTION STEP: Quads, Endurance

Start Aging Intelligently today, one step at a time. 

Just before you eat:

Stand up, press your back into a wall, bend your knees, and come into a squat position with your back against the wall. It’s a sitting-in-a-chair position, back straight, lower legs parallel to the wall. Stay there. For one minute. Two, if that seems easy. Three, if you are challenging your endurance. Your phone will have a timer on it somewhere. Use it.  

This improves endurance; leg, hip, and abdominal strength; and burns calories.

Only then, eat.

This adds a habit you already do (eating) to a habit that you want to form (strong legs, fabulous abdominals).

Aging Intelligently is a process and a practice.
