Another Old Guy Dies
A speaker with somewhere around 32 books and a motivational company to his name, he encouraged people in business and personal development for 40 years. Zig Ziglar: good speaker, funny name. I grew up listening to him, even saw him speak a couple of times. Zig was amazing: upbeat, forward thinking, positive in how he approached life, and he believed that he controlled his own life and deserved everything that he received, both good and bad. And that’s the thing I remember the most, that he took total responsibility for his life. He didn’t grumble, whine, or try to make it someone else’s fault.
Being responsible, not shying from whatever life handed him, and being an energetic guy, I believe that kept him young. He was in good health and lucid almost until the day he died.
That’s Intelligent Aging.
Here are two of my favorite quotes from Zig Ziglar:
“You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.”
“Every choice you make has an end result.”

Missed, but not forgotten.
