Move your body. Use your brain. Discover movement awareness, injury compensations, and postural integrity. Increase core strength, and kick your kid’s butt once in a while doing something they think you are too old to do. You still ROCK!
I encourage those who choose to stay active; are challenged through mobility, strength, and flexibility. Think of yourself as active, not sedentary. Life is dings; learn rehab, keep moving. Get out there where life is happening. Don’t read about someone else. You be that someone.
Utilizing everyday skills, I teach strength, coordination, balance, and efficient movement. It’s all about you and your issues, a one on one individual approach. Thrive using joint mobility, long spine, breathing, restful sleep, nutrition, increased vision, balance, and coordination. An engaged brain + a focused body = health and mental clarity. Everything integrates. You are what you think, what you focus on, and how dedicated your practice.
If you don’t move with intention, you slow down unintentionally, and age. Move more. Move often.
Just say NO to Thoughtless Aging.
Imagine an aging process where you stay mentally sharp, physically strong, and emotionally stable. Learn lifestyle changes and new attitudes about how to affect your aging process.

From Those Who Are Moving Their Bodies Better………..
“Dempsey helps me learn the limits and possibilities of my body,…. Especially the Possibilities.” – Charles Cohen, MBA, CFP
“Working with Dempsey has helped me stay healthy. It’s that simple. I no longer need regular chiropractic or physical therapy visits. She’s an observant and thoughtful coach, and a valuable supporter of my active pursuits.” – Bill T.
Our sessions are never boring. Every week there’s something new and challenging. I literally bounce away from her studio. Seventy and standing tall, Susan in Seattle.
About three years ago (at age 69) I noticed that I had trouble backing up my car because I couldn’t turn either my head or my torso enough to look back. I also experienced frequent burning in my shoulders because of a habit of hunching them up. And I continued to be limited by threats of recurring back pain. I began to work with Dempsey, who quickly identified a host of other problems. She has an extraordinary ability to see problems in the way one moves, and her deep knowledge of skeleton, muscles, and nerves enables her to design exercises targeted precisely at specific problems. What she has not cured, she has taught me to manage. Besides strengthening my core muscles, she has enabled me to change the way I carry myself, the way I walk, the way I sit, the way I pick up things, and to extend my range of motion literally from my toes to my head. She is very, very good. – Dick B
