Slow Or Stupid
In life, you have to choose: black, gray, white, green. Rich, poor, comfortable, trailer trash. Nice, mean, tolerant, tedious. Life is always choices. You give attention to one, and let the others go. Without commitment, nothing gets done. So it is with one of my favorite sayings: you can be slow or stupid, but not both. You have to choose.
If you think about it, it makes sense. If you are slow and take your time with learning a new skill (insert anything here: piano, basketball, reading, dog training), you exhibit intelligence. Hence, you cannot be stupid. However, if you try to blitz through learning a new skill (insert anything here: cooking, driving, golf, learning a foreign language), your stupidity will surely show.
Therefore, you can be slow or stupid, but not both. You have to choose. Thinking proceeds doing. Or prepare for continual failure and disaster. Slow or stupid, never slow and stupid.
LOVE this!
