Action Step, Balance 2

Just a reminder about the action step: it’s balance, one step at a time.

Just before you eat, stand on one foot for 20 seconds, then the other. If you can, close your eyes. If not, no worries. If you cannot do 20 seconds, do 5 seconds, or whatever you can. If you need to hang on a chair and keep testing yourself, go right ahead. You get better by practicing.

Only then, eat.

This adds a habit you already do (eating) to a habit that you want to form (improving balance).
